This prestigious event honors women who are building bridges of understanding, healing divisions, and shaping a more compassionate, just, and sustainable future.

GEI Global Leaders sponsors the annual Exceptional Women of Peace awards with Pathways To Peace, a UN-Designated Peace Organization.

Held annually, the Exceptional Women of Peace Awards aligns with the United Nations' Culture of Peace initiative and amplifies the voices of women who embody peace in action. This year’s honorees represent a rich tapestry of backgrounds and disciplines, from humanitarian and entrepreneurial leaders to educators, healers, and policy advocates. “These awards coordinate with the launch of our two new ground-breaking products, which are focused on women’s leadership,” Brown said. “Presence Women: Bite-Sized Wisdom for Women Global Leaders is a transformational card deck designed to elevate and inspire women in leadership roles worldwide. Presence Wonder: A Woman’s Journey through a Year of Transformation is a companion self-coaching journal that celebrates the power and beauty of transformation. All the award finalists embody the leadership concepts represented in our new tools and resources.”

Presence Women: Bite-Sized Wisdom for Women Global Leaders is a breakthrough new tool from GEI Global Leaders to empower women leaders worldwide.

“GEI’s sponsorship enables us to expand the reach of this celebration and deepen our collective commitment to peacebuilding led by women,” said Tezikiah Gabriel, Executive Director of Pathways To Peace. “Together, we are elevating the visibility and impact of peacebuilding worldwide.” Keynote Speaker is Ambassador Anwarul K. Chowdhury – a steadfast advocate for the role and leadership of Women, at the United Nations and beyond. The awards ceremony commemorates the passage of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace Resolution adopted by the UN General Assembly on September 13 in 1999: A/RES/53/243 – Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace . Ambassador Chowdhury pioneered this landmark programme and since has provided global leadership to advance a Culture of Peace.

The ceremony will take place on Sept. 13, 2025 at 11AM ET and will be livestreamed via social media to a global audience, inviting individuals everywhere to join in honoring the peacebuilding work of these transformational leaders.
