During a performance in Germany, where US and Russian armed forces were on the front lines of a potential global war, Laura realized the importance of peace on Earth and how peace needed to be lived first within each individual. From there, Laura went on to become a professional journalist, working at newspapers in Germany, Washington, DC, and Long Island, NY.
